My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

see shows at the Fox Theater! It's become a monthly tradition to visit the theater with friends and take advantage of their student discounts and rush tickets.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Songfest! I love the community it fosters among students. Some of my best friends have come from my Songfest experience, and I still watch it every year!

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Bowden Hall! I love to work in the upstairs lounge and chat with History Department faculty and staff.

What has been your most impactful class?

SPAN 318: Language & Culture for Heritage Speakers! This class was targeted toward heritage speakers and focused on Spanish linguistics and dialects. It was a wonderful opportunity to analyze the way I and others navigate multi-hyphenate identities.
