Studying at the Starbucks by the bookstore, or hanging with friends at the new student center. Emory provides some of the most calming and relaxing spaces. We are very lucky as a student body.
Visit the Coke Museum, Aquarium, and the High Museum. As an Atlanta resident, I may be a little biased in saying that Atlanta is the best city in the US. However, it is truly a place to have a good time and receive an incredible education. My personal favorites are the aquarium and the museums, but there is so much more to do! Just ask me :)
Emory's Homecoming Week is the most enjoyable time of the semester. It is incredible to see the involvement of student organizations, and the interactions between Emory students, faculty, and administrators. Furthermore, the Friday night concert is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as it is an opportunity to party with friends and watch some of the biggest names in music.
Informational Systems and Operational Management has opened my eyes to the world of probability, and the operational processes of leading companies. It is incredible to hear the professor lecture about his own personal experiences, while gaining immense knowledge in Excel and other helpful business-inclined programs. It is a must-take for any student interested in pursuing a business track, and even an option for those on different paths.
