Ambassador at Emory University
Class of 2025
Hometown: Plano, TX
Major: Philosophy/Politics/Law
Secondary Major: Sociology
I took a class on Political Philosophy during my sophomore year, and it completely changed the trajectory of my studies at Emory. Through that class, I was exposed to so many foundational and important texts, and through frequent class discussions, I got to know a lot of my classmates really well. It inspired me to choose my major, Philosophy/Politics/Law, and continue taking similar classes so that I could continue to explore similar topics.
try new food! There's an endless amount of new cuisines and restaurants here, and I love to go and try new restaurants out with my friends on the weekends. Atlanta has such an incredible diversity of food and culture.
Sitting somewhere outdoors on campus. Emory's campus has so many beautiful green spaces, and the weather is lovely for majority of the year. I love to eat, do work, or hang out outside with my friends. Frequently, you might find me throwing a frisbee on the Quad.
Songfest is definitely my favorite. It was an amazing way to get to know people during freshman year, and I still go to the watch party every year to watch the new freshmen compete and represent their dorms.
