What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Swoop's Ball! Emory's homecoming concert has been the funnest campus tradition I have experienced. As a freshman, I saw Jack Harlow perform on Emory's McDonough Field, and my friends had a fun day on the Atlanta campus before the concert.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

in a study space in the Oxford Science Building. The OSB is my favorite place to get some quiet study hours in because of its wide windows that look out at the Quad.

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class thus far has been Psychobiology and Cognition with Dr. Lewis. I applied to Emory as a Linguistics major, but the engaging lectures and intriguing content of this course inspired me to switch to the PsychLing program. In the lesson exploring the specific parts of the brain, we had the opportunity to hold a human brain as Dr. Lewis pointed out the thalamus, cerebral cortex, etc. I find myself constantly applying what I learn in this class to my everyday life.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

walking the Beltine and having a meal at Ponce City Market with friends!
