What is your favorite Emory tradition?

The farmers market on Tuesdays! The food is so delicious, I am obsessed with the vendors selling honey, peach and papaya jam, cuban sandwiches and baklava.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Exploring the many parks and nature reserves in and around Atlanta! There are so many beautiful green spaces and plant life in the city. Especially during the fall and the spring when nature is most beautiful, spending time in these places brings me lots of peace and happiness.

What has been your most impactful class?

BIOL 352 on epigenetics and human disease! The way epigenetics influences our genes and our bodies is so fascinating, and this class exposed me to a lot of current research in the field and encouraged me to join a lab.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Studying or reading on the deck outside the Candler School of Theology Building with a cup of coffee. The deck is such a peaceful place to study, and gets a lot of nice sunlight. I'm also a big Kaldi's coffee addict, and can't get through the day without one!
