Studying and hanging out with my friends in the Emory Student Center/Wise Heart, where there is always tons of natural lights and people you know.
I love to explore the city! There is so much to do in Atlanta and I try to take advantage of the events throughout the year such as going to Cirque du Soleil, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, or grabbing dinner at Ponce City Market.
My favorite Emory tradition is the Homecoming Parade because it is a great show of our school spirit and always unites the student body. Additionally, it is great to see our two mascots, Swoop and Dooley, and the President joining the parade each year!
My most impactful class so far has been HLTH 385 (Drug Discovery) with Dr. Gavegnano. It was incredibly engaging to learn from Dr. Gavegnano about the living immunology and drug discovery process as one of the drugs she co-developed had just been approved to treat COVID-19 patients. Additionally, this class was very discussion based, so I was able to learn from my classmates and use unconventional wisdom to tackle different drug discovery topics.
