Class of 2026

Hometown: Raleigh, NC

Major: Computer Science

What has been your most impactful class?

ECON 190: Economics of Systemic Racism with David McMillon. It was very impactful for me since I learned much about why black Americans are perceived the way they are to other ethic groups. Through this class, I built a connection with the professor and he has since become my favorite professor at Emory. I have been to many talks and events he hosts.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

I like the annual SongFest event where each of the first-year residence halls compete with choreography and parodies of popular songs against other halls for SongFest Champion.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Explore Ponce City Market, I like to try the many foods that each restaurant has to offer and I like the amusement park games they have especially the mini golf on the top floor.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

You will probably find me going to, at, or coming from the campus gym, Woodruff Physical Education Center (WoodPEC). Whether for fencing practice, Outdoor Emory meetings, playing basketball with friends, or simply to get a workout in, I spend a lot of time at the WoodPEC.

I'm involved with...
