During the every freshman's first semester on campus, students are required to enroll in a Discovery Seminar. My Discovery Seminar was Understanding Community, and it was truly a meaningful experience. I was able to forge some of my closest relationships in that class, while also meeting and interacting with several community partners who visited as guest speakers.
at the Student Center! I enjoy working with the company of other people, and the Student Center offers a great social environment for anyone like me--with the added bonus of lively background music. Here, I always find myself running into friends and deciding to work together, mitigating any stress.
I absolutely love the Coca-Cola toast during orientation as someone who grew up as a Coca-Cola enthusiast. It is also a great way to connect with peers on campus and create valuable relationships for the years ahead.
spend time with my friends. Atlanta is a great place to visit a new food joint, engage in a new activity, or find a new shopping complex--every week is a new adventure!
