I love the Cox Bridge farmer's market because it combines two of my favorite things: friends and good food! I love meeting or running into my friends at the farmer's market, especially people I don't see every day. My favorite stalls are the ones that sell homemade popcorn and the Jamaican food.
Sitting by window drinking coffee or chai. I love anywhere with natural light, especially the Emory Student Center and the Candler Theology building. I may or may not be talking more than studying.
Eat! I'm a foodie and love to try out new restaurants with friends, especially ones on Buford Highway.
I took a class about Asian food and culture called "Consuming Global Asia" that examined how we think about Asian food in turn shapes our perceptions of Asia as a whole. I formed a really close relationship with my professor, Dr. Jenny Wang Medina, who has been a mentor for me for the past few years. This class was also the catalyst for my current senior research thesis. Most importantly, this class changed the way I thought about my own identity and belonging and really helped me grow as a person.
