Ambassador at Emory University
Class of 2028
Hometown: Nashville, TN
Major: Chemistry
Secondary Major: Dance and Movement Studies
All around! I'm typically in some extracurricular for dance, in the library working hard for a class, or outside enjoying a beautiful day with friends. Atlanta's weather is the best, and I always take advantage of the sunny days!
Explore the city and surrounding area with my friends on the weekends. So far, I've loved seeing Ponce City Market, Insomnia Cookies, and Red Top Mountain State Park. The shuttle system at Emory is very expansive, so it's easy to get around with no cost!
I love Homecoming week and all the festivities, especially the SPC homecoming concerts! Every semester, a new musician or artist is invited to Emory through the Student Programming Council, and it is a great way to bring together the whole campus while enjoying live music on McDonough field.
My most impactful class so far has been my Freshman Seminar: Contemplate, Create, Debate. In this class, my eyes were opened to the impact that art has on everyday lives, and how human expression is created through various forms of art. Also, the class environment was fun, accepting, and vibrant, and I made so many close friends.
