Myles D.

Ambassador at Emory University

Class of 2027

Hometown: Suwanee, GA

Major: Anthropology and Human Biology

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class has been ECON 190: Economics of Money Laundering, with Professor Ayogu. I initially only took this class because I thought it sounded interesting and I needed to take a freshman seminar, but I have gotten so much more out of this course! It helped me see how widely influencing money can be all over the world well as the fact that economics can be tied back into almost any situation.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Explore! There are lots of different mom-and-pop shops as well as random stores all over the city that can make any weekend day with friends disappear!

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

With friends in a library study room or playing basketball in the gym!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Songfest! I think it's a really great way to start building community as soon as students come on campus in their first year and be able to begin making both friends and memories.

I'm passionate about...

Global Health Housing and Homelessness Listening to music and hanging with friends Podcasts Playing Basketball

I'm involved with...

Black Student Alliance Graduation Generation
