In the dining hall. I use the (brand new!) space to get work done or get a meal with a friend. It's a really nice facility that serves a purpose beyond eating.
Wonderful Wednesday. It is a great opportunity to learn about events/fundraisers/involvement on-campus and learn about various student groups. It happens every Wednesday!
I took a first-year seminar on the U.S.-Mexico border which was an amazing class. It was small, so I got to know my peers and professor really well. The class structure was unique and really fun. We had a lot of artistic freedom in class projects and discussions, and we went on a few field trips. The class taught me a lot about the history of border spaces which lead to the current social and political climate/attitude.
Go bowling! There are a lot of really inexpensive places (my favorite is Midtown Bowl). It's a great way to get off-campus and have fun with friends.
