My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Hang out with my best friend Kathryn! We met before coming to Emory on Instagram and have become stuck on the hip! You can always find us walking around campus with no destination in mind. We met because of our common love for our school, and I am more than happy to explain why!

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class would be ENVS 371/372 aka Ecology of the Tropics! As a freshman, I was lucky to take this class and learn all about the ecology of the tropics and during spring break I even went to Peru to traverse the Amazonian Rainforest! While there, I learned about traditional medicine, hiked through the most biodiverse square mile in the world, and hung out with a couple monkeys!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

The Coke Toast during Freshman Orientation is my favorite Emory tradition. Coke is a symbol of Atlanta, and helps immerse yourself in the new surroundings as well as meet new friends.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

You can probably find me in the Math and Science center or running to the Starbucks next door for a coffee run! I like to go up to the 5th floor and study in the Environmental Science study lounge in between classes.
