Ambassador at Emory University
Class of 2023
Hometown: O'Fallon, MO
Major: Environmental Sciences
Secondary Major: Biology
My most impactful class is currently my Chemistry 190 class. During this class, our goal is to learn the scientific inaccuracies that exist within the media today. I am still currently enrolled in this class so we are continuing to discuss common misconceptions within our world today.
My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is to go to Piedmont Park, and just hang around with friends. Within Piedmont Park there are many different green spaces in which you can explore with friends. Riding an electric scooter for the first time within Piedmont Park is one of my most memorable experiences off-campus with my friends.
My favorite Emory tradition is Songfest. Songfest is where all the different first year dorms get together to memorize and song and dance that explains why their residential hall is better than the rest. This is a great Emory tradition for first year students because it creates a ton of school spirit within the first week of being on campus.
On a random day you will find me doing a variety of different things. You could either find me in my Chemistry 150 class or my Environmental Science 130 class. After classes, I normally go to the DCT, Dobbs Common Table located in our new ESC building, and grab lunch with my friends. You could find me in the Woodruff library studying or in one of the residential hall study lounges. Having a school balance of academic and social life is always a good balance to have while in college, so I will try to do something with my residential hall floor which could range from playing Spikeball in the freshman quad to hanging out in someone's room talking about our lives before college.
