Visiting museums. One of the first things I did when I arrived to Emory was visit a museum. Atlanta is such a rich city where so many cultural events are taking place. You will always learn so much when visiting a museum and highly recommend doing so if you haven't! If you're looking to get started, visit the Michael C. Carlos Museum!
Reading! I enjoy reading and am constantly looking for new books to read. During my class transition periods, you will find me reading in the hallway. I love expanding my knowledge in different disciplines to be able to discuss them with others. Throughout the semester, I take a few trips to Barnes and Nobles to check out any new books.
My favorite Emory tradition is Wonderful Wednesday. There's so much energy on campus and I constantly get reminded of the reasons why I chose to attend Emory during my senior year of high school. So much enthusiasm and happiness in the middle of the week!
My most impactful class has been SPAN301W (Early Hispanic Texts and Contexts). I enjoyed this class so much as I got to develop my existing writing abilities in Spanish and got to read a lot of Spanish texts from Latin America and Europe. The discussions in this class were fascinating, and I enjoyed advancing my knowledge in Spanish Language and Culture.
