Ambassador at Emory University
Class of 2027
Hometown: Auburn, AL
Major: Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology
Minor: African Studies
My most impactful class has definitely been my Discovery Seminar, Military Coups and Popular Uprisings in Contemporary Africa. This class provided a great deal of insight into the ways in which different political systems work in Africa and how they have impacted Africa's countries and international relations today. Since I am African, I appreciated the opportunity to learn so much more about my heritage and the significant historical events that have shaped my country, Sudan, as well as many other African countries.
On a random day, you're most likely to find me in the Belonging and Community Justice Spaces! You're also likely to find me in the student center hanging out with friends or relaxing in between classes!
My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is try new coffee shops and restaurants around the city with my friends!
My favorite Emory tradition is celebrating Dooley, our unofficial school mascot who's a skeleton. I'm always intrigued to hear what riddles and hidden messages he has and what actions he'll do next!
