My first-year seminar, Biographies in the Media Age. It was a comparative literature class where we looked at biographies through different mediums and in the end, had to produce our own. It challenged my writing style and taught me about the many mediums in which a biography can take shape.
at Ebrik coffee above the Carlos Museum! I love their cappuccinos in a glass mug yum! The caffeine and sunny study spot help me finish my work easily. After that, you can probably find me on the quad tossing a frisbee with some friends and soaking up the sun.
Go to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! In the spring it is blossoming with beautiful flowers and different sculptures made out of plants. In the winter they put on a lights show at night time which makes you feel like you're in a magical winter wonderland.
My favorite Emory tradition is Songfest! I love singing and dancing, so getting the chance to do that while also meeting new first-years was a great experience. Whenever I hear Fergalicious come on I can't help but sing the Songfest version of that song...Hammylicious! My residence hall got 3rd place and I will always take pride in that. Go Hammy!
