What has been your most impactful class?

Both Racial and Ethnic Relations and Intro to Studies in Sexualities have been my most impactful classes. My eyes were really opened. While I already knew much of the teachings in my Racial and Ethnic Relations class, I saw it from a different lense. It was broken down to the basics and built up in the most complex ways. Not only that, my understanding of the impact that Black and Brown humans (mainly trans) made within LGBTQ+ history has broadened tremendously. I highly recommend both courses.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

studying or completing a task for one of the many organizations I am in. I especially like to study in the new Emory Student Center!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

I absolute love Songfest! It was a great experience and it is so special to see new students from my former residential hall have the time of their life.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

eat! I am still finding new spots, but not as often as I would like! If you want to stay local, I recommend Wagaya, but if you want to go a little further, Little Five Points has some great options. Also, Buckhead has a lot of great food spots too.
