At Spiller Park Coffee! It's my favorite place in Atlanta, and lucky for me, it's only a 10 minute drive!

What has been your most impactful class?

Hip-Hop Dance and Identity (DANC 228) with Professor Julio Medina! It represented everything I wanted out of my experience at a Liberal Arts university and Professor Medina is one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. Through his class I gained so much insight into the history of hip-hop (something I never thought I'd be able to say), and also engaged in a lot of activities that fostered self-discovery.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

The Farmers Market! I love walking out onto McDonough Plaza every Tuesday knowing that a delicious Moroccan chicken shawarma bowl awaits me. I always try to build my schedule around it because the Farmers Market is one of the highlights of my week! Not only do they have great meals, they also sell fresh produce, making it a really easy and affordable way to support small and sustainable businesses :)

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Exploring the food scene! My friends and I like going to a different restaurant every Thursday. It's such a fun tradition that we have incorporated into our routines, and an amazing way to make sure we're reaping the benefits of going to college in a big city.
