I love exploring new vegan restaurants with friends! Soul Vegetarian, Dulce Vegan, and Herban Fix are a few of my favorites. I also love driving and looking at all the unique, beautiful houses around the city. They each seem to have such a personality to me!
Doing something active, whether it be a run in Lullwater Preserve, work out at the Wood Physical Education Center, or hike at Stone Mountain. I will also most likely be cooking or baking something for friends!
My favorite Emory tradition is the Coke Toast, where we toast to the beginning of college with a Coca-Cola in hand. It is such a unique moment and special part of Emory, and it was when I really felt like I had "begun" college. It was the last thing I did with my mom after she moved me into my residence hall, and while it was a little bitter-sweet I was so excited to begin a new journey!
My most impactful class has been Understanding Community with Dr. Pace. In this class we examined the communities in the city around our campus, not just the ones that we were apart of on campus and learned what it truly meant to be apart of "community." I was able to meet a community member who had seen the city change over the past 80 years, and gain a vast amount of wisdom from him.
