I love to walk along the Beltline with a group of friends and trying restaurants along the way! My go-to restaurant is actually along the Beltine in the building called Ponce City Market. There are so many diverse restaurants and cute stores within that it is hard to choose from, but I am a sucker for a Cuban sandwich in El Super Pan.
My most impactful class has to be my Intro Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies. I'm currently taking it this semester and already have had my perspective rearranged. Most students recommend this course and I understand why! Especially since Dr.Olson is so passionate and open. Conversation in the class gives you so much self-reflection and hope for the future.
There are two hotspots on the Oxford campus for me. One I am either in an eno or on a blanket on the Quad if it is a nice day out. Luckily for us, Georgia has a beautiful spring and fall so it is irresistible to just be outside. However, if it is chilly or rainy I am usually tucked away in the student center doing homework or enjoy a smoothie from the Jackson Family Kitchen.
My favorite Emory tradition is for sure OX Olympics. The day was filled with these mini-games that brought me so close to my peers. I still am very close to the members of my team from the Olympics so it says a lot! It personally took me out of my shell and let me open up to some amazing friendships.
