Alumnus at Emory University

Class of 2021

Current: Phoenix, AZ

Major: Economics

Minor: Spanish and Portuguese

What has been your most impactful class?

My freshman year, I decided on a whim to enroll in a Freshman Seminar on Yiddish children’s literature. At the end of the course, my professor and I published the children's book I created for my final assignment.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Eating Southern food and visiting museums. There is no better way to learn more about Atlanta's history and culture than by eating hot chicken at Hattie B's or spending a day at the National Center for Civil and Human Rights.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Grabbing coffee with a friend at Kaldi's or reading a book in my hammock somewhere in Lullwater Preserve.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

SongFest, by far. I always joke that the first-year tradition is like Pitch Perfect on steroids. Though singing and dancing in front of thousands of other students can be embarrassing, SongFest is the best way to build community and meet lifelong friends.
