I ADORE First Fridays, a monthly showdown between our many a cappella groups on campus. They congregate on the steps of the Emory Student Center and put on an hour-long show where they highlight the very best of Emory's musical talent. I'm not musically-inclined myself, but I've found my place as a full time fan.
In Cox 2nd, studying (or not) in the gorgeous Tech Commons.
Econometrics with Dr. Wunnava changed my life. I was always interested in economics, but learning the full technical side of establishing effective experimental design and interpreting the results opened my eyes to something more: using the causal framework of economic inquiry as a lens to better understand the world. Using the logic of econometrics, I've become fascinated by applied microeconomics and its many implications in predicting—and potentially changing—the future.
Bike. Atlanta has a wonderfully diverse trail system and great Emory connectivity to the Beltline, Ponce City Market, or even downtown. The nature around here is spectacular and sometimes I catch myself biking to Stone Mountain along a fully paved 15 mile bike trail that runs east of Emory.
