On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Grabbing a coffee to satisfy my morning caffeine addiction before heading to the Belonging, Community, and Justice (BCJ) Center or the Cox Computing Center to get some studying done!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Songfest! Having taken part in it this year, Songfest was not only incredibly fun to experience, but it was also a way for me to meet my fellow Dobbs residents and make new friends! Not to mention the Dobbs & Alabama team (nicknamed AlaDobbs) won Songfest this year! :) It was amazing to see everyone come together to learn all the funny parody songs and dances that ultimately led us to victory.

What has been your most impactful class?

My freshman seminar class, AMST 190 with Dr. Risjord! This class is one of the main reasons I'm looking into the American Studies major. I've learned so much about how interdisciplinary research allows us to study intersections between critical race theory, contemporary/historical America, and scientific progression. Our class time is spent engaging in deep, thoughtful discussions about our current American society and progressive research surrounding the role of race and science in these systems. I look forward to attending this class every week.
