Dooley's Week, despite the fact that every year, I write Dooley a clever limerick, but he/she has never dismissed any of my classes! The concert is always so much fun, and I look forward to the T-shirt every year.
working in a lab, walking/running around Lullwater Park (seriously Lullwater is the best), petting dogs , or studying in one of Emory's ELEVEN libraries!
volunteering in the senior services division of Grady Hospital in downtown Atlanta, going to one of Atlanta's many park festivals, and riding Atlanta's public transportation (MARTA).
Defining Health: Biocultural Perspectives (ANT 339) with Dr. Michelle Lampl - I have never read so many books in such a short period of time, but it was absolutely worth it. I learned how to think critically about medical hegemonies, and I learned that I "don't know what I don't know." History of Emory (HIST 385W) with Dr. Gary Hauk - This is one of the best classes I have ever taken! Dr. Hauk taught us to appreciate the complexities of local history. After his class, I am a much better writer, and I love Emory even more!
