What is your favorite Emory tradition?

SONGFEST!!! It was so much fun as a first-year, and I absolutely loved creating it as a Sophomore Advisor and now as an SRA!

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Explore the smaller surrounding areas!! I recommend adventuring in downtown Decatur which has my favorite ice cream shop, Butter & Cream!

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class was definitely WGS 285, Love-Sex-Desire. It was a special topics class that really opened my mind to so many different ideologies. The class discussions helped me learn how to critically think about what society taught me to believe, and we learned how to subvert theses structures and systems through art. After visiting museums and studying various forms of art, we actually got to put together an exhibit with our own art based on research we had done with the class. It was so cool and I really bonded with my classmates and professor through the creative process.
