Exploring different coffee shops and cafes with friends. Occasionally I will have the opportunity to see a musical or another arts performance at the Fox Theater.
My most impactful class was Psych 205 Child Development, with Dr. Patty Owen-Smith. I learned so much about influences on childhood development and additionally had the opportunity to see the topics we were discussing displayed in real-life in the surrounding Georgia communities through the service learning element of the course.
In the new student center or the library. In the student center, I love sitting in the Greer Forum and catching up with friends while working on homework. As a student employee at the library, you'll likely find me behind the circulation desk or amongst the rows and rows of stacks.
My favorite Emory tradition is the Coke Toast. Not only does the Coke Toast celebrate the connection between Emory and Coca-Cola through Robert Woodruff, but it also marks pivotal moments in the life of each Emory student. Performed at freshman orientation and again at graduation, the Coke Toast is such an incredible opportunity to celebrate the beginning and ending of one's time at Emory, uniting classes past, present, and future.
