Class of 2023
Hometown: Advance, NC
Major: Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology
Minor: German Studies
My freshman seminar, NBB 190, which focused on studying and analyzing the adolescent brain, helped me become certain that I wanted to major in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology! I am grateful for the experiences I got to have in that class, whether it was examining brains from multiple species or seeing how MRI scans worked/what type of data they produced.
Explore the downtown area, whether it be going to the aquarium or to Ponce City Market for ramen! I am always looking to find new things to explore with my friends!
Walking into Cox Hall to get some Blue Donkey coffee, finding a place to study and do my work outside (the quad is one of my favorite places!), or going to the gym to work out or play basketball and volleyball with my friends!
Songfest would have to be one of my most favorite events, because it really is the best way to meet your fellow first year classmates! The sense of community and exploding energy brought on by Songfest is an unforgettable experience!
