You'll often find me in the Schwartz building! I love performing arts, so you can often find me practicing my saxophone in the practice rooms, rehearsing with my a cappella group, or in musical or play rehearsals in that building.
My most impactful class so far was Introduction to Social and Political Philosophy with Dr. Mousie. It was my first philosophy class ever, and it introduced me to the topic and actually made me decide to major in it! I loved the readings Dr. Mousie selected for us, and I enjoyed the challenge of digging into what the philosophers were writing about and having dynamic class discussions about the readings.
I take a tap class in Atlanta at a studio called Dance 101, and it's a lot of fun! It had been a while since I broke out the tap shoes since high school, so it was great to get back into it when I came to school here at Emory. I'm hoping to try out some of their other dance classes soon, too!
My favorite Emory tradition is Wonderful Wednesdays, where a bunch of different student organizations set up tables at Asbury Circle every Wednesday. It's a great way to get to know other students and clubs, take a break between classes, and usually snag some awesome merch!
