What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class has been a class called Postwar Japan Through Its Media. Even though I am not a East Asian studies major, I loved the class because of the insightful discussions we had about a different perspective on World War II (as well as the films and manga we were exposed to). The teacher was amazing and is one of the best teachers I've met at Emory. Even now, an entire semester later, I still use the things I learned from the class, whether it be writing or analytical skills, and I still keep in touch with the teacher.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

I'll probably be in the music building, Schwartz Center for Performing Arts, practicing piano -- or in Cox Hall, goofing off with friends playing video games!

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Discovering new places to eat and drink bubble tea! Atlanta has a lot of different restaurants with different cuisines that I haven't discovered yet--my favorite memory from freshman year is finally trying KBBQ for the first time! If I'm not discovering a new restaurant, I'm probably somewhere around Atlanta drinking bubble tea.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

It's not really a tradition--but I love the Farmer's Market that happens every Tuesday during the school year. It's a great way to bring some variety/spice into your life; delicious Jamaican food, fresh produce, and even bubble tea!
