Ambassador at Emory University
Class of 2023
Hometown: Los Angeles, CA
Major: History
Concentration: Empires, Nations, and Citizenship
At the first floor in Woodruff Library. The bottom floor of the library is always a lively and fun environment to meet up with friends, or study.
My most impactful class thus far has been History 190: Fake News. This class helped me determine my major. As I explored the history of fake news rather than the inflammatory issues of today I was able to reconcile the past with the present. Not only did I learn about history in a collaborative and fascinating way, but I also became great friends with my classmates and found my major advisor through the class.
To explore Ponce City Market. I always find new local retailers that I do not have access to at home and get to experience and try new foods and products with friends.
My favorite Emory tradition that I have participated in is Songfest. The various first-year halls compete against one another in a song-and-dance competition. I made some of my closest friends through Songfest.
