in the ESC trying to get some work done between my classes!
My most impactful class has been MUS 212, or Exploring Choral Music. We learned about the evolution of choral music, starting from the days of Gregorian chant to the music of the 21st century. I took it the second semester of my first year to fulfil a General Education Requirement, but I ended up learning a lot more away than I expected. My professor was my choir conductor, and it was really cool to see how passionate he was about this topic. I also got a lot of context and history about famous pieces that I sang in the choir.
to explore new places to eat with my friends. My favorite restaurant at the moment is No. 246, which offers authentic Italian cuisine.
I love Songfest! I think it's such a nice way to build community with your hall and make friends. Because of Songfest, I was able to find some of my best friends at Emory.
