in the Pitts Theology Building (my favorite study spot on campus!) or eating a Maru bowl and drinking a mango dragonfruit refresher outside the Oxford Road Building. I love going to Pitts to alternate between reviewing class material and watching Beta Squad videos. But if I'm not there, I'm probably eating in front of the ORB and catching up with my high school friends via Facetime.
The Weekly Farmer's Market on Tuesdays! I always go to the Jamaican lady's food station for chicken patties and coco bread. And if Slow Food has a sampling table, I always check it out!
hang out in random parks with my friends! I love going there with them to paint, celebrate birthdays, volunteer at local events, picnic, attend random festivals, or just walk and talk.
SPAN 330/THEA 363 - Theater Workshop in Spanish with Prof. González and Prof. Owen. This class pushed me outside my comfort zone by teaching me to act and create theatrical works in Spanish. We did stage readings, wrote and performed micro-theater plays, retold short stories, and more! And after studying abroad in Spain (due to Prof. González's encouragement), I now feel more comfortable speaking Spanish than ever.
