What is your favorite Emory tradition?

I love Dooley's Week! It's a great way to build school spirit and get out and see the campus filled with energy. There are great giveaways and activities that bring a lot of joy right in the middle of midterm season.

What has been your most impactful class?

I took an introductory poetry workshop in the Spring of my first year. I already enjoyed creative writing, but it was a great way to push my limits and try a really cool new discipline. I really enjoyed the structure it provided to tell stories, as well as the workshop element, which kept me really connected with my classmates even though I couldn't get to know them in person. Poetry is a unique mixture of structure and spontaneity, and this class was a really beautiful way to learn about it.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Trying new food. There are a lot of restaurants in Atlanta, Decatur, and (my personal favorite) on Buford Highway. And I still haven't even tried all the different food options on campus yet! There's so much cool stuff to explore!

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

In Woodruff Library. I spend a lot of time there, whether it's studying, hanging out with friends, taking meetings, grabbing a snack, or even sometimes having a class there.
