My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

I love finding new restaurants to take my family and friends to when they visit! Atlanta is home to a seemingly unlimited number of cute cafes and “hidden-gems” and unearthing them all is super fun. It honestly feels like every time I head into Midtown or Decatur, I find a new favorite place.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

On a random day, you're most likely to find me grabbing a coffee with friends. I love frequenting Kaldis, Starbucks, or Blue Donkey. I wish I could pick a favorite, but honestly it feels like I’m on a constant rotation of them all. Banjo coffee at the library is pretty good too!

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class has been sociology. Originally, I wanted to pursue a major in sociology. Although I ultimately made the switch to nursing, I learned so much from my time in my sociology courses, all of which can be applied to my life no matter my career path. If you can take a class with Dr. Nalkur or Dr. Park, I highly encourage you to do so!!!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition would have to be Songfest, where all of the first year residence halls have a dance battle against each other! I think Songfest is such a good way to meet new people early on. Mostly everyone is doing something that could be a little out of their comfort zone, but doing so forces everyone to become closer. I met a couple of my friends during songfest practice my first year.
