My favorite Emory tradition is the Carter Town Hall. It's an elusive opportunity to hear a former US President speak about the world, his experiences, and share his insight with college students. Each time President Carter visits campus, it consistently reminds me of how esteemed Emory's faculty is.
getting coffee at Starbucks or studying in the Matheson Reading Room!
visit the World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium. The World of Coca-Cola reminds me of Coca-Cola's importance to the city of Atlanta and to Emory. I appreciate the Aquarium's research and conservation efforts and am happy to support them, and the whale sharks are incredible.
My most impactful class has been Foundations of Sustainability with Professor Caroline Schaumann. After taking this course, I have been more cognizant of my environmental impact while trying to take measures to be more sustainable. This course also sparked my academic interest in sustainability and I will be writing my senior thesis on sustainability in German-speaking countries.
