What has been your most impactful class?

For my freshman seminar, I took IDS 190: Plato's Republic in Contemporary Perspective. The class introduced me to an ancient text that, I'll admit, seemed rather boring on the surface. But over the course of the semester, as we analyzed Taylor Swift lyrics, watched The Matrix, and connected it all back to the text, I found that studying the Republic could be far from boring if you had an amazing professor.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

Tuesday is my favorite day of the week because I get to eat at the Emory Farmer's Market! It's a great way to support local small businesses and try new cuisines. My friends and I love the Cuban food and fresh juice vendors.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Sitting in one of the benches at Kaldi's coffee shop, going over my neuroscience notes from that morning's lecture and sipping on a Moroccan jasmine tea.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Walk around Ponce City Market with my friends. The food is amazing, and I love finding new novels at my favorite bookshop. On Saturdays, they have an outdoor flea market with racks of vintage clothing and homemade candles!
