Class of 2025
Hometown: Cleveland, OH
Major: Chemistry
Secondary Major: International Studies
Walking around campus listening to music, doing homework in Atwood, writing, reading, or having a great conversation.
I have two classes that have defined my time at Emory thus far. The first is the creative writing introduction to poetry class I took with Professor Marshall during my first semester. I was exposed to a lot of different styles and techniques and it was the first time I got to collaborate in a room full of poetry writers. The second class was Orgo which actually convinced me to become a chemistry major. The way that the chemistry department here teaches its foundational courses with a basis in molecular orbital theory is unique from most other schools and provides a more profound understanding of the reactions we study.
Go to concerts, parks, and museums and eat good food. One time I was going to a Fletcher concert, and my uber driver was an actor from the vampire diaries.
Songfest! It is a great way to kick off the school year and welcome the incoming class.
