Going for runs in places like Piedmont Park or the BeltLine. Running is always a nice stress relief, and it's a great chance to spend time outside and see what Atlanta has to offer!
My most impactful class was Psychology 110, which I took during my first semester at Emory. I came into college thinking that I wanted to study neuroscience, and this class definitely solidified that choice for me. The course material was fascinating, and the professor was very enthusiastic and clearly wanted to help students become just as enthusiastic about the subject as he was. He also taught us some helpful memory techniques that can be used for almost any class!
Going for a run, spending time with friends (maybe trying new restaurants in Atlanta or going to events on Emory's campus), listening to music, doing homework, etc.
I loved Songfest during my first year at Emory! Learning such an elaborate song and dance routine is a great way to get to know your hallmates, and it's also very fun!
