What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition is Wonderful Wednesday because it is really great to walk around campus on Wednesdays and see the entire student body come out and lift the moods of all the students on campus.

What has been your most impactful class?

Introduction to Fiction Writing 272 with Professor Tayari Jones. This class has blown my mind multiple times over; Professor Jones has completely changed the way I look at fiction, relationships between characters, what it means to craft a good story. Even though she is a New York Times award winning author, you would never be able to guess it because she is one of the most humble, down to earth people I have ever met. Every time I leave her classroom, I walk away having learned something that will forever change the way I look at books, relationships between people, and the world in general.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

walk around Midtown because it reminds me of Manhattan and try new restaurants with my friends! There are also lots of good food places near campus as well; my favorite is the dollar sushi at Thaicoon on Mondays and Tuesdays. Atlanta has a great mix of food from a lot of different cultures and there is always something new to try.
