My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

explore! I've made sure to visit a lot of the touristy attractions in Atlanta, like the aquarium and the World of Coca-Cola, as well as a lot of historical sites, like the King Center and the Oakland Cemetery. I love exploring all the interesting and unique things there are to do in Atlanta, and I have a lot more to check off my bucket list in the next few years!

What has been your most impactful class?

My most impactful class at Emory was my freshman seminar, Madness and the Tropics. In the class, we explored the history of mental illness, especially in Brazil, and the way in which societal context impacts the way we think about madness in general. The class opened my eyes to creative and discussion-based learning at Emory, as well as got me interested in taking more history and non-major related classes.

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

studying with my friends! I spend a lot of time studying, but hate doing it alone, so 9 times out of 10 I'm with my friends in a study lounge or the library, hanging out and sometimes actually doing work.

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition is the late night breakfast before finals start. I went for the first time this fall and got to hang out and destress with my friends while going back every couple of minutes to the donut bar! It was the perfect break from pre-finals stress, and a great way to spend time with my friends before we all left for break.
