Going to the Atlanta Botanical Garden! While I have only been twice, it is my favorite place in Atlanta. The first time I went was in August and the flowers were beautiful. The second time I went was for the light show around the holidays. The lights were gorgeous and I had so much fun.
On a walk or at a coffee shop. The weather in Atlanta is perfect so I enjoy walking around campus and the surrounding neighborhoods. Oftentimes, I will end my walk with a little treat (usually coffee).
My favorite Emory tradition has to be Songfest. Especially since it's at the beginning of the year, it's a great way to meet new people and immediately feel the Emory community. I am incredibly close with everyone on my floor just because we all chose to participate in Songfest. There's nothing quite like Emory residence hall pride!
My most impactful class has been my introductory psychology class, Psych 110 Psychobiology & Cognition. Since I am undecided, it felt somewhat overwhelming to go in with no concept of what I wanted to do. After the first day of classes, I knew that psychology was something that I wanted to explore. My professor, David Edwards, always made class entertaining and although it was challenging, I learned so much about psychology and even how to be a successful student.
