Major: Nursing
My favorite Emory tradition is the Coke Toast. At the beginning of first year, the entire class toasts to the next four years at Emory using a Coca Cola product. Then, during commencement, the class does another final coke toast. As a self-proclaimed Diet Coke addict I am very happy that this tradition exists at Emory and that my time here will begin and end with my favorite beverage!
It makes me really happy to explore the city with my friends. I love looking for good restaurants, shopping, and new activities to try. Piedmont Park, Krog Street Market, and Ponce City Market are some of my favorites!
My most impactful class at Emory so far was Human Growth and Development (NRSG 200). I loved learning about the different cognitive, psychosocial, and behavioral theories that impact development. As a future nurse, I especially loved the aspects of this class that explored lifecycle growth from conception to death.
I am usually working out at the WoodPEC, hanging out with my friends at the student center, or attending programs with Emory Hillel!
