Linguistics 340 with Dr. McLarty was, dare I say, the most impactful class I have taken at Emory. Besides awakening my newfound love of linguistics, learning about the processes which underlie language and how we use it to index our identity has helped me develop a greater degree of cultural and self-awareness.
going to Atlantic station and doing my bi-weekly clothes shopping (which is really just window shopping) and stopping by this Indian food place called "NaanStop" (highly recommend the Lamb Curry and in-House Chai!).
at the campus Starbucks and/or my residential hall lounge. Being in my room makes me feel tired which sucks because I love being productive. Seeing everyone active as they pass me by makes me want to do things too.
Definitely has to be Dooley's week. I honestly just love all the free merch they give us (and free food... who doesn't like free food).
