The most impactful class I have taken at Emory has been Memoirs of the Holocaust with Deborah Lipstadt. Dr. Lipstadt is a well-known Holocaust historian, and it was an honor to take a class with someone so knowledgable about the Holocaust, especially since my grandparents are survivors. This class taught me so much about the experience of the victims of the Holocaust, and I felt grateful to have the opportunity to take it.
My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is run on the belt line with a friend. The belt line is a path throughout Atlanta that stops at cool places throughout the city. After we run, we stop and get food and just enjoy the city around us.
Every spring semester, Emory's Student Programming Council plans a week filled with amazing festivities. Dooley's Week honors the unofficial mascot, our favorite skeleton, Dooley. There is a concert by a famous artist, there's a lot of food, and there are different fun activities. This week truly unifies the entire Emory Student body through spirit and love of Emory.
On a random day, you are most likely to find me on the academic quad. The academic quad is a beautiful patch of grass in the center of campus. I love sitting here with my friends, reading or talking. The quad has absolutely wonderful vibes, and I am thankful Emory has such beautiful nature and outdoor spaces.
