Ambassador at Emory University
She/her/hers
Class of 2022
Hometown: Glenview, IL
Major: Biology
My most impactful class has to be Sociology 101. It opened up my eyes to a new perspective about things we all have normalized such as why do we stand in lines or walk the way we walk. However it has also opened up discussions about racism, sexism and other important issues in the world today.
My favorite Emory tradition has to be Wonderful Wednesday. It’s a great break in-between classes where one can learn more about different clubs, play games and grab some food. It brings the Emory community together in more than one way.
I enjoy exploring all the different cafes and restaurants Atlanta has to offer with friends. Atlanta is a huge foodie destination and as a coffee fanatic I love finding new unique cafes to study or chit-chat in.
I spend a majority of my time at Woodruff Library. Not only is it a great place to study but also a lot of my friends and I like to just spend time there and talk on comfy couches or group study rooms. There’s also a Peet’s Coffee shop that is also a convenience store that’s a great place to roam around during my study breaks.
