My most impactful class was my history freshman seminar on the history of U.S. doctors and doctoring. While I am a STEM major, this history class allowed me to improve upon my analytical and writing skills, as well as gain a deeper appreciation of how the past has shaped our future.
My favorite Emory tradition is Songfest, which is a competition amongst all of the first-year residential halls. Each hall recreates the choreography and lyrics to popular songs, and whichever hall had the best performance wins SongFest. I absolutely love this Emory tradition because it promotes hall spirit, community-bonding among your hall mates, and who knows? You could also meet your best friend there, like I did.
at Kaldi's Coffee Shop in the new Emory Student Center. I go there often and order a green tea latte and work on homework or just organize my schedule for the week.
go to Ponce City Market with my friends. We love walking around Ponce on a sunny afternoon and getting acai bowls for brunch.
