I really enjoyed the Human Rights museum when I had the chance to visit. It has very powerful exhibits and it can be a truly impactful experience for any individual. If you're ever in the mood to appreciate information about past and present social movements, I recommend visiting this museum (even if it's a tourist trap).
One of my favorite traditions is Farmer's Market Tuesday because it brings people out of their dorms to enjoy the nice weather and it's a wonderful break from classes. The products are all fresh, artisanal, and delicious. I don't know of many colleges that have an event like this on a weekly basis!
My most impactful class so far was definitely the Biomedical Ethics class I took in the Candler School of Theology. The course examined bioethics through the lens of Christian theology which was entirely new to me. It definitely challenged my thinking and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I'm grateful to the professor for letting me be an inexperienced freshman undergrad student in a graduate course. I learned so much and still think about the course to this day. The professor, Dr. Jackson, and I have stayed in touch because I took such an interest in the course material.
In a library or a bookstore! I love to read, so anywhere I can be around books makes me happy. I'm actually working at a Barnes & Noble right now and it's been so much fun. (Not to mention the amazing 40% employee discount)!
