What has been your most impactful class?

Survey of English Literature to 1660 with Dr. Higinbotham is my most impactful class because it explores deeply into well-known authors such as Shakespeare and Chaucer, but also Thomas More and Edmund Spenser. Dr. Higinbotham is both an engaging and encouraging professor who is very passionate about what she teaches.

My favorite thing to do in Atlanta is...

Go hiking! I've never been much of an outdoors person, but it has been fun to explore nature in the company of my friends. Arabia Mountain is about 20 minutes away from campus and is a great place to visit to watch the sunset!

On a random day, you're most likely to find me….

Playing card games in the lobby of my dormitory with my friends. I can also be found eating and hanging out in the newly built Student Center!

What is your favorite Emory tradition?

My favorite Emory tradition is the Coke Toast! During my first year at Oxford, it was online. However, this year I was able to attend not only the first-year Coke Toast, but also one specifically for the Sophomores! It was so fun to toast to the new year with everyone!
