Even though it was online this year, I really enjoyed participating in the Coke Toast with my friends. Robert Woodruff, the president of Coca Cola in the early 20th century, used to be a student of Emory and to honor one of his many contributions, Emory celebrates with a toast! This was a great way to kick off my journey at Oxford and Emory in the company of fellow students and faculty!
Playing card games in the lobby of my dormitory with my friends. I can also be found eating and hanging out in the newly built Student Center!
Survey of English Literature to 1660 with Dr. Higinbotham is my most impactful class because it explores deeply into well-known authors such as Shakespeare and Chaucer, but also Thomas More and Edmund Spenser. Dr. Higinbotham is both an engaging and encouraging professor who is very passionate about what she teaches.
Go hiking! I've never been much of an outdoors person, but it has been fun to explore nature in the company of my friends. Arabia Mountain is about 20 minutes away from campus and is a great place to visit to watch the sunset!
