at Emory University
Class of 2023
Hometown: Annapolis, MD
Major: Economics
My favorite Emory tradition so far has been Songfest because my entire floor got really close during the practices. I also really enjoyed watching all of the halls perform. I am not usually very competitive, but I lost my voice because I was screaming so loudly during the performance.
If you catch me in the morning, I am definitely getting coffee. It is how I start every day. I then study in the new student center, the Emory Student Center, in one of the chairs by the window. I like to have a nice view of campus when I am doing my work. I usually make it a point to walk around the Quad every day (weather permitting). I still cannot get over how nice Emory's campus is.
I took business economics in my first semester and immediately fell in love with it. The professor was funny and engaging, and I knew that I had found my major just weeks into the class. I found each topic interesting and I wanted to learn more. I spent a lot time working outside of class to dig deeper into the topics we learned.
Exploring all of the unique food options in Ponce City Market. I love how Ponce has such a variety of food options. My favorite restaurant there changes weekly, but right now it is Pancake Social. It is such a cute breakfast/brunch place. After eating I walk along the Beltline and shop!
